#646 Ghost or Chicken Wire?

 Fun Fact #646

Ghost or Chicken Wire?

Halloween decorations are a wonderful thing but oftentimes they can seem large and complicated to the point of discouraging people from joining in on the fun. Yet with a little creativity and imagination that can be avoided, so here is an idea I *clears throat*  borrowed from my neighbor.

The idea as she described it is simple. Use a piece of rebar for the spine of the “Ghost” so it can stand up, then wrap the chicken wire into a series of shapes before attaching these parts together around the rebar to form the Ghost. Sticking to basic tubes and tying them together makes this much easier. Then all that's left to do then is to use some stretchy Spider webbs to make the “Ghostly clothes” plus the cobwebs help cover up gaps between limbs in the design. The best part is if you replace the spiderwebs with christmas lights after halloween then you can have some ready made carolers for your yard (if you skip Thanksgiving).

Supplies needed for Project

  • A supply of Poultry wire ($9 for 25 feet at Home Depot)
