Fun Fact #627
Feeling Jayded
Known for their noisy, bold and aggressive nature, The Bluejays are the definition of a bad neighbor. They feed mostly on Nuts (Acorns especially), Insects and berries.
One of the notable attributes of a BlueJay (or Blue Chatterer) is of course their territorial nature. With their high muscle-to-bone ratio, and a beak made for breaking nuts these tiny terrors pack quite the punch. In fact, they have been known to use their beak to decapitate small mammals, lizards, and even other birds (like owls).Yikes! At least they don't stick the heads on spikes. Speaking of heads, they have excellent facial recognition, which also allows a Bluejay to hold Grudges for years on end.
Heck even Biologists don't like these guys since there are no currently working Hyposisis on what causes Blue jays to Migrate since they often take breaks from migration for multiple years on end, while other times they end within a month. Which can lead to random attacks if a Blue jay hates you. On an unrelated note: Apparently capturing and tagging Blue jays really upsets them.
A blue Jay's greatest weapon however is their voice which can be used to mimic other birds. They use this most often to mimic Hawk, owl, and even Eagle calls, which if responded to the Bluejay will then call for a "Mob" where many birds in an area collect to bring down and/or kill the object of The Blue Jay's Scorn (They especially hate owls). To put this in perspective an average Mob consists between 5-200 individual birds. The Hawks never stood a chance.

In light of this, I think someone should tell Tony to keep his skate parks far away from these Jaded little Birds.
As always thanks for reading and please have a wonderful day!.
