Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and Vegetables are world famous, but what’s the difference between them? At its simplest, Fruits are the edible section of seed-bearing plants. Thus they tend to be high in carbohydrates and sugars to help attract animals to scatter the seeds. On the other hand, Vegetables are all the other edible parts of the plant. This means that Stems (Like Celery), Tubers (Potatos), Leaves ( lettuce), Roots (Carrots) and even flowers (Broccoli) are all Vegetables and since plants do not actively try to make them appealing they are healthier in comparison as a general rule.
