A Fickle start
The first ever Super Bowl was a rather odd affair. The biggest problem was that it was the first game between the American Football League and the National Football League resulting in many fans staying home rather than support their rival league monetarily. By the time Gameday had rolled around, so few tickets had been sold that they wound up giving them away --which still failed to fill the stands. Yet despite all this the Green Bay Packers (NFL) would pack in a win as they beat the Kansas City Chiefs (AFL) 35-10, to become the first ever winners of The Super Bowl.
