Just keep Swimming
One of the oldest sports in the world, swimming dates back to cave paintings from over 7,000 years ago. Yet just because it's old doesn't mean it's out of fashion as it regularly ranks among the top public recreational activities, and rightfully so. Swimming not only is a wonderful day out, but can also improve cardiovascular function, reduce inflammation and tone body muscles, –just make sure that children play other sports well since the natural cushioning of the water can negatively affect adolescent bone density if they spend a majority of their time in it.
